A really nice Sunday morning/afternoon walking the forest and nature trails at Sabal Palm Sanctuary in Brownsville. Just a short trek over to Brownsville and down to the Rio Grande. Felt very safe and nice. Beautiful birds, old growth Sabal Palms, a resaca, wetlands walkway, butterfly garden, gazebo next to the Rio Grande. Off the beaten path...one of our true ecotreasures.
